For lubrication lower the material support arm 110.0205 into its lowest position
by pressing the lifting pedal on the stand to bring the machine into its starting
position. Then oil according to the lubrication instructions in
Lowering the material support arm to lubricate the machine
(Fig. 2 and Fig. 3)

Class 58-4 is especially suitable for roll-padding both lapels, sewing in an
upward direction (Strobel patent) because of their wide passage space.
Padding instructions for Class 58-4 (Fig. 6 and 7)
Fig. 6 show how to pad a right lapel which is sewn from the bottom upwards,
working from the lapel break towards the edge, so that the front part left of the
material support arm can be guided over the table.
Fig. 7 shows how to pad a left lapel which is sewn in the manner described
above, except that the right front is guided through the wide passage space of
the machine to the right of the material support arm.
