Receiving the Printer
Inspect Crate for Damage
Before opening the shipping crate, inspect the crate for signs of exterior damage.
Report evidence of excessive damage to Stratasys and the shipping company.
Preparing For Installation
Required Tools and Equipment
• 2 people (qualified movers) minimum
• Powered screwdriver or drills (qty 2) with: Phillips bit, 3/8”, 9/16” and m6 hex nut drivers
• Ladders or scaffolds (qty 2) with minimum 6 feet height capability and 250 lbs weight
capacity
• Cutting pliers or knife (to cut zip ties)
• Shrink wrap
• Tape for repackaging bubble wrapped components
• A forklift with 4 foot long forks (or extensions) to lift the V650 from the right side
Arrival of all required items for installation (tools crib, materials, system and finishing
equipment) must be on site and verified a minimum of 3 days before installation.
If a forklift with long forks is not available, or if the forks are bigger than the 5 1/4”
x 2 1/4” loops, shorter forks can be used to lift the V650 printer from the front as
