SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
6.1
How to proceed during a power outage
A power outage at any time during automatic regulation is no reason to reduce or stop the ongoing
heating process. However, it is important to keep in mind that the Air flap will stay in the same
position as when the outage began.
If you need to stoke more fuel, the Air flap will need to be manually opened to the 100 % position
(see next section).
6.1.1
Manually opening the Air flap
Remove the orange plastic piece and magnet from the Air flap. Place the side with the magnet onto
the black circle on the servomotor labelled
magnetic gear release
. This will release the clutch and
allow the shaft to be rotated (i.e. turning the Air flap). You can then manually turn the shaft in a
clockwise direction as far as it will allow. This will open the Air flap to its 100 % position.
After the Air
flap has been opened, remove the piece and magnet from the servomotor and return it to its
original position.
No further manual interference with the automatic regulator is required once
power has been restored—the regulator will automatically calibrate the shutter.
7
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The automatic burning regulator does not require any special maintenance. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents or coarse materials that could damage the device.
