Installation Procedure
To install the appliance
1.
Configure the IPS element in the Management Client, and save
the initial configuration on a USB memory stick. See the
IPS
Installation Guide
.
2.
Install the appliance into a rack and connect the cables. See
Rack-Mounting
(page 10) and
Connecting the Cables
(page 16).
3.
Insert the USB memory stick in a USB port on the appliance, and
turn on the appliance to import the initial configuration. See
Initial
Configuration
(page 18).
