guarantee a safe use.

are described in the instruction sheet. Do not oil or grease the valves. Repairs may only be
carried out by qualified specialists.

EN
c. While using
- The pot is under pressure when in use. Improper use can result in burns. Make sure the
roasting pot is properly closed before using it. Never use the roasting pot with the lid not
placed properly on top of it. See details for closing the low pressure lid correctly under
point 3.
- Only use the stove types that are described in this instruction sheet.
- Before cooking, make sure that the roasting pot contains enough liquid. Ensure that the
liquid does not evaporate completely. Otherwise the food may burn and the roasting pot
or stove may be damaged. In case of extreme overheating, plastic parts or the aluminium
might melt. In this case, turn off the stove immediately and do not move the roasting pot
until it has cooled down completely. Air the kitchen.
- Do not fill the roasting pot more than 2/3 of its capacity. When cooking food that froths
or expands as it cooks, such as rice, cereals or dried vegetables, only fill the roasting pot
up to its half capacity.
- Never leave your roasting pot unattended. If all the liquids evaporate, the food may burn
and the roasting pot may be damaged.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces of the roasting pot and lid, but only handles or knobs. If
necessary, use pot holders.
d. Important information concerning food
- Do not cook apples or stewed fruits in the roasting pot. Vapor bubbles can be formed
under the skin, that can burst while opening the cooker and might cause burns.
- Please note that if you cook meat with skin, it can swell when under pressure. In order to
prevent burns, do not pierce the meat as long as the skin is swollen.
- Prick sausages with casing several times before cooking, so that the skin cannot burst and
cause burns.
- Excessively foaming food such as legumes should be cooked with opened lid firstly.
Before closing the lid, skim off the foam. Please do not fill the pressure cooker more than
half of its capacity.
- When cooking mushy food, shake the roasting pot carefully before opening to release
vapor bubbles that may have formed.
