Handling the battery

Changing the side access battery

DANGER

Risk of trapping fingers
It is advisable to wear gloves when changing the

battery.

WARNING

Risk of injury
Safety shoes must be worn when changing the

battery.
Before handling, ensure that there is nobody

around the truck.

To remove the battery, we recommend that

you use a fixed roller frame or a truck with

extraction rollers (fitted with rollers) for easier

handling of the battery.
To change the battery, proceed as follows:
– Immobilise the truck
– Lower the load arms.
– Switch off the ignition and remove the key.
– Press in the emergency off switch.
– Open the battery hood.
– Unclip the hood from the fixed screw (1).

Place it onto the load arms.

– Disconnect the battery connector located

under the dashboard.
