Driving: Dual-pedal option

The operator selects the direction of travel

using the accelerator pedals:
• Forward travel (1)
• Reverse travel (2)
Forward travel
– Press the accelerator pedal (1) to move

forwards (in the opposite direction to the

load arms).

Reverse travel
– Press the accelerator pedal (2) to move

backwards (in the direction of the load

arms).

WARNING

Restricted visibility
During reverse travel, visibility may be restricted.

Be very careful. Make sure that the path behind is

clear before travelling in reverse.

Reversing the direction of travel

– Press one of the accelerator pedals (1) or

(2).

– Release the pedal.
– Press the other accelerator pedal.
The truck brakes progressively and then

moves off in the opposite direction until the

required speed has been reached.
