Regular safety inspection of the truck
Safety inspection according to time and
exceptional incidents
The operator (see ⇒ Chapter "Definition of
terms used for responsible persons", P. 18)
must ensure that the truck is inspected by an
expert at least once a year or after special
occurrences (in Germany, safety inspection;
please observe your national regulations)
(see ⇒ Chapter "Definition of terms used for
responsible persons", P. 18).
The truck must be inspected completely for
its safe technical condition. The truck must
also be thoroughly checked for damages pos-
sibly caused by improper use. An inspection
record must be prepared. The results of the
inspection must be filed at least until after the
following the inspection.
The date of the inspection is indicated by a
sticker on the truck. The "Test manual for
power-driven trucks" should be used. Order
No. 135745.
Refer to the guidelines for the inspection of
your trucks according to the accident preven-
tion guidelines for trucks.
The operator must ensure that any defects are
remedied without delay. Please contact your
after-sales service.
NOTE
Please observe national regulations.
Electrical insulation test
The truck’s electrical insulation must have
sufficient insulation resistance. Insulation
resistance must be tested in accordance with
DIN 57117 and DIN 43539, VDE 0117 and
VDE 0510 at least once a year.
NOTE
The truck’s electrical system and the batteries
must be checked separately.
