Signal generator:
This parameter can be used to switch the optional signal generator on or off. When switched on, an acoustic signal will
be sent out on closing. If the signal generator is not installed, this option will be ineffective.
Additional information on the use of SHE central control units
SHE central control units in accordance with VdS guideline 2581 or the standard DIN EN 12101-9 contain a breakaway
function for iced windows, vents or skylight domes.
With this function, if SHE is triggered to open over a period of 30 minutes, a short closing pulse followed by an opening
pulse will occur every 2 minutes.
If a value of > 0 s is stored for “symmetry correction" in the WPS2 control unit, then the above-mentioned breakaway
function for iced vents should be switched off in the SHE control unit.
Note:
During the commissioning of the WPS2 system, the performance of the vent after triggering of the SHE
should be monitored for a period of 30 minutes.
