Connection and set-up options
Sensor connection terminals (terminals 13-23)
Connection of a passive infrared sensor or an active infrared sensor or an active infrared radar sensor. The correspon-
ding sensors are to be selected using the Service Port software.
Please see the section entitled “Sensor connection assignment” for the exact terminal assignments.
Connecting a switching strip
Both the WPS2/A and WPS2/B offer the option to connect a switching strip. If the switching strip is triggered, the
protective function of the WPS2 system will also be activated. The motor circuit will be stopped and even traversed by
reversing the operation if necessary. The switching strip is only monitored during the closing of the window. Switching
strips with a terminating resistance of 600-15,000 ohms may be used. The contact transfer resistance on activation
should be less than 400 ohms. The Service Port software currently offers the option to select a 1200 ohm (EKS 026) or
