hot during operation.
• Pipes may be extremely hot.
WARNING – CHEMICAL BURN AND/OR EYE
INJURY HAZARD: Wear appropriate Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves and
eye protection when using a descaling product.
Avoid contact with eyes or skin. If chemical prod-
uct was swallowed or in contact with eyes or skin,
read and follow precautions and instructions on

(MSDS) and seek medical attention immediately.

4.6.4 Replace Detergent Squeeze Tube
WARNING – PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD:
• Detergents are caustic and can cause adverse
effects to exposed tissues. Do not get in eyes,
on skin or attempt to swallow. Read and follow
the precautions and instructions on the deter-
gent label and in the Material Safety Data
Sheet (MSDS) prior to handling the detergent,
refilling the detergent container or servicing
the detergent injection pump. Wear appropri-
ate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
whenever handling the detergent or servicing
the detergent injection pump and lines.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equip-

or eyes, immediately flush with running water
for at least 10 minutes. If contact was with
eyes, seek medical attention.
CAUTION – POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT DAM-
MAGE: Always use a silicone lubricant to
lubricate squeeze tubes. Petroleum-based lubri-
cants, such as Vaseline
®1
or grease, will cause
squeeze tube to melt.
Replace detergent squeeze tube as follows:
1.
Lock disconnect switch in OFF position and close
building supply valves.
2.
Locate detergent supply pump.
3.
Remove clamps and disconnect supply and injec-
