3.11 HEADER SYSTEM
Reversing Header System:
• When Header System is not Fully Forward and is
not Fully Reversed:
If traveler forward limit switch does not detect header
system in fully forward position (1 in 6) and traveler
backward limit switch does not detect header system
in fully backward position (1 in 7), control energizes
traveler forward contactor (4 out 5) for 30 seconds
(fixed value not adjustable). Once traveler forward
limit switch detects header system in fully forward
position (1 in 6), control de-energizes traveler forward
contactor (4 out 5) for 2 seconds (default value adjust-
able in service mode only).
If after 30 seconds (fixed value not adjustable), traveler
forward limit switch does not detect header system in
fully forward position (1 in 6), control gives an alarm.
• When Header System is in Fully Reverse Position:
If traveler forward limit switch does not detect header
system in fully forward position (1 in 6) but reverse
limit switch detects header system in fully reverse
position (1 in 7), control energizes header forward
contactor (4 out 5) for 30 seconds (fixed value not
adjustable). Once traveler forward limit switch detects
header system in fully forward position (1 in 6), con-
trol de-energizes traveler forward contactor (4 out 5)
for 2 seconds (default value adjustable in service mode
only).
If after 30 second (fixed value not adjustable), traveler
forward limit switch does not detect header system in
forward position (1 in 6), control gives an alarm.
• When Header System is in Fully Forward Position:
If traveler backward limit switch does not detect
header system in fully reverse position (1 in 7) but
forward limit switch detects header system in fully
forward position (1 in 6), control energizes header
reverse contactor (4 out 6) for 30 seconds (fixed value
not adjustable). Once traveler reverse limit switch
detects header system in fully reverse position
(1 in 7), control de-energizes traveler reverse contac-
tor (4 out 6) for 2 seconds (default value adjustable in
service mode only).
If after 30 second (fixed value not adjustable), traveler
reverse limit switch does not detect header system in
fully backward position (1 in 7), control gives an alarm.
• Central Header (Option)
Control opens jet suystem ball valve (4 out)2 and closes
central header ball valve (6 out 2) until header system
completes a full stroke (back and forth), then, opens
central header ball valve and closes jet system ball
valve for the next full rotation. Sequence repeats the
entire duration of recirculation phase
3.12 BOTTLE WASH OPTION
Control alternates between bottle wash ball valve (6
out 1) and jet valve #1 (4 out 12) every 30 seconds
during the whole recirculation phase. When switching
from one valve to the other, both valves are open at the
same time for 2 seconds to avoid having both valves
closed, which can cause a water hammer.
3.13 WASHER MONITORING
• Monitored During Entire Cycle
If emergency cable system is pulled (1 in 0), control
gives an alarm.
If an emergency button is pressed (1 in 2 for load side,
1 in 1 for unload side) control gives an alarm.
If a door is opened (1 in 4 for load door, 1 in 5 for unload
door) control gives an alarm.
All washer outputs are de-energized.
3.14 ALKALINE WASH TANK MONI-
TOR (IF OPTION APPLIES)
3.14.1 Alkaline Wash Tank Filling
If alkaline tank high level switch (1 in 9) indicates that
alkaline wash tank is not full, control energizes alkaline
tank fill valve (4 out 10) for 5 minutes (default value
adjustable in service mode only) or until alkaline wash
tank is full. Once alkaline wash tank high level switch
detects water (1 in 9) for 3 consecutive seconds, control
de-energizes alkaline tank fill valve (4 out 10).
3.14.2 Alkaline Wash Tank Filling Alarm
If after 5 minutes (default value adjustable in service
mode only), alkaline tank high level switch does not
detect water (1 in 9), control gives an alarm.
3.14.3 Alkaline Wash Tank Heating
Once alkaline wash tank is full, control energizes alka-
line tank steam valve (4 out 12) to start heating alkaline
wash tank water up to 140.0
°
F [60.0
°
C] (default value
adjustable in service mode only) for 10 minutes
(default value adjustable in service mode only). Once
temperature set point is reached, control de-energizes
alkaline tank steam valve (4 out 12).
