FAULT FINDING CONTINUED
Water Loss Fault
The water level in the bath has dropped during the cycle.
Check the unit for leaks. Check that the drain hose is installed correctly. Check
the zone valve is operating correctly.
Bottle Temperature
Probe Fault
PLC Input I7 + I8
The bottle temperature probe reading is out of tolerance.
Check Bottle temperature probe wiring and connector on inside rear of unit.
Replace the Bottle probe.
Left Side Temperature
Probe Fault
PLC Input I9 + I10
The water temperature probe reading is out of tolerance.
Check temperature probe wiring. Replace the probe.
Right Side Temperature
Probe Fault
PLC Input I6
The water temperature probe reading is out of tolerance.
Check temperature probe wiring and TC to 4-20mA converter (Y1) operation.
Replace the probe or converter.
S90 not heating up
Perform heater reset as per Maintenance section of this manual.
Not reaching
temperature during
pasteurisation
Check levels.
Check bottle probe is not damaged.
Check cycle settings.
Check whether heating element thermostat has tripped. If so reset by pressing
red reset button.
Temperature may need increasing as ambient temperature has changed or feed
is thicker.
Check calibration of the pasteurisation probe to the pasteuriser
Not Chilling below 4

Ensure probe is correctly positioned in bottle.
Check water levels.
If feed is thicker, chill time will need extending in the settings. See cycle setup of
the Maintenance Manual.
Check bottle probe is not damaged.
Check calibration of the pasteurisation probe to the pasteuriser being used.
Draining Fault
The unit is not draining correctly. Check that the drain hose is installed correctly.
Check that the drain pump is running. Check that the drain hose is not blocked.
Check the zone valve is working. If the drain is restricted by the hospital’s
drainage system, the maximum drain time may need increasing.
Pasteuriser has not
asked you to remove
SD Card
Reasons:
1. Changing settings while SD card is in the machine
2. Machine has faulted i.e. power loss and when the fault is cleared it
returns to main menu.
What to do:
Put SD card in to slot (If not already in)
Press SD button on main menu screen. Bottom right hand corner.
Press the green button on top left corner and hold for about three seconds until
remove SD card screen is displayed.
Remove SD card.
Switch unit off for 5 minutes then turn back on.
SD Card Alarm
Reasons:
1. SD card has been removed from machine before being prompted by the
machine.
2. SD card does not have enough room to store data.
3. SD card is not formatted.
4. SD card is corrupted.
What to do:
Put formatted SD card in to slot
Press SD button on the main menu screen. Bottom right hand corner.
Press the green button on top left corner and hold for about three seconds until
remove SD card screen is displayed. (if this does not work press the plc reboot
button
on the same screen)
Remove SD card.
Switch unit off for 5 minutes then turn back on.
