WATER OUTLET CONNECTION
The drain hose should discharge into an air gap standpipe between 600mm & 900mm
above floor level. Details are shown below.
Note the hose must fall continuously from the back of the unit to the standpipe.
WATER SUPPLY
Water consumption: 85 Litres per cycle
Warning:
Maximum incoming hot
water temperature is 55˚C (If higher, a temperature regulator will
be required)
Maximum incoming cold
water temperature is 20˚C
The water supply must be clean drinking water and free from micro-organisms, and
sediment free as per EPA Primary Drinking Water Standards
http://web.mit.edu/watsan/methods_waterqualitystandards.html
Maximum water hardness 200mg/L
– if the water hardness is above this level a water
softener should be fitted.
If water is not sediment free then an external filter should be fitted otherwise the
pasteuriser could be damaged.
Both hot and cold water supplies are preferable and they should be between 34.5 kN/m
2
(5 lb/in
2
) and 1034.2 kN/m
2
(150 lb/in
2
) pressure.
One hose should be connected between the hot supply and the threaded connection
labelled hot supply on the rear of the machine.
The other hose should be connected between the cold supply and the threaded
connection labelled cold supply on the rear of the machine.
Remember to insert a sealing washer at each connection point to ensure watertight
joints. Do not over tighten the connections by using tools - hand tight is sufficient to
prevent leaks.
