Set Up a Fixed IP Address in Windows XP or Windows 7
Click Start / Control Panel / Network Connections to find the network connection that represents your
connection to the Internet. Most often, this is labeled simply “Local Area Connection”.
Right-click the connection and select “Properties”.
Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” in the list (you may have to scroll down the list to find it).
Click “Properties”.
Most default configurations will have both “Obtain an IP address” and “Obtain DNS server address
automatically” selected by default.
Click “Use the following IP address” and enter the following:
IP address:
192.168.1.2
Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Click “OK” to close the configuration windows.
You should now be able to access the Model P300 2.1 via your Internet browser.
