● When the hour counter indicates “100.0”, set the main switch to “o” (OFF) for safety, wait for more than 10 

minutes, then replace the lamp burner after making sure that the lamp housing has cooled down. 

A  mercury  burner  seals  high-pressure  gas  inside.  If  the  burner  is  used  beyond  its  service  life,  stress  may 

accumulate inside the burner, and in the worst (but very rare) case, the burner could explode. 

● After replacing with a new burner, reset the hour counter, be sure to press the reset switch until  “000.00” is
