ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Power
There are 2 ways to power this device: AA batteries or DC
adapter power supply.
1.
AA Batteries: Open the device to access the battery
compartment, install 4 x 1.5 AA batteries and make
sure the battery polarity is correct.
2.
There is a power cord socket on the bottom of the
device. Remove the rubber plug and connect the
power supply with appropriate parameters.
Installing a memory card
•
Prepare a Micro SD memory card (with a maximum
capacity of 32GB and class 6 or higher) and insert
it into the device to save files. Before installing the
memory card it should be formatted.
ATTENTION! The device does not work with cards of
64GB and more.
•
To avoid malfunction, the memory card should be
protected against water, strong vibrations, dust, heat
sources, and direct sunlight.
•
Do not force the memory card in. Observe the
markings on the device.
•
Before using for the first time, allow the card to reach
ambient temperature. Temperature and humidity can
lead to a short circuit inside the device. Be careful
when using it outdoors.
•
If the memory is full, the device will stop recording
automatically (or overwrite the first photo or video
depending on system settings).
3.3. DEVICE USE
Basic operation
Turn camera on / off
NOTE: It is not recommended to move the switch directly
from the “OFF” position to the “ON” position. It‘s best to wait
a short while switching in each position.
•
Switch in the “TEST” position: it is the mode for
changing system settings, playback and manual
taking of photos / videos.
•
Switch in the “ON” position: the automatic operation
mode of the device will start after 5 seconds of the red
indicator flashing.
•
Switch in the “OFF” position: the device is turned off.
System settings
Set the mode switch to the „TEST“ position to change system
settings.
1.
Press the „MENU“ button to open the settings menu.
2.
Press the “Down” / “Up” button to navigate through
the menu. Press the „OK“ button to select the
parameter.
3.
Press the “Down” / “Up” button to navigate through
the available options. Press the „OK“ button to
confirm your selection.
4.
Press the „MENU“ button again to return to the last
menu or to exit the settings menu.
Settings available:

Mode
Sets one of the four available operating modes:
•
Photos: The device only takes photos
•
Video: The device only records videos
•
Photos and video: The device will take a photo first
and then record a video.
•
Time-lapse mode: the device takes photos and
records videos at a specific time interval (5/10/30/60
min), regardless of whether the motion sensor detects
a motion or not.
»
Resolution
Sets the photo resolution to one of the three possible
options: 20 /16 /12MP.
»
Continue shot
Sets the number of photos taken each time. The
number of photos in one series can be set to 1/3/6/9.
»
ISO
Sensitivity of the matrix to light. Possible settings:
Auto / 100/200/400. To take brighter photos, set the
value to 400. To obtain the „overexposure“ effect, set
it to 100.
»
Video size
Quality of the videos. Possible settings: 1080P / 720P /
VGA
»
Video Length
Possible settings: 10/20/30/60/90 seconds
»
Record Audio
Possible settings: enabled (On) or disabled (Off).
»
PIR Interval
Delay in taking a photo when motion is detected.
The device will not take any photo or record a video
during the delay time.
Possible options are: 1/5/10/15/30 seconds, 1/5/10/30
minutes.
»
PIR Sensitivity
The sensitivity of the motion sensors can be set to:
low/medium / high
»
Language
Menu language selection.
»
Time lapse
It is possible to take photos and videos regardless of
whether the sensor detects movement at a specified
time: 5/10/30/60 minutes.
»
OverWrite
Possible settings: enabled (On) or disabled (Off).
If the device memory is full, the first photo / video will
be deleted from the memory to enable taking another
photo or recording another video,
»
Date
Time and date settings. The date formats available:
year / month / day (YY / MM / DD)
month / day / year (MM / DD / YY)
day / month / year (DD / MM / YY)
»
Camera Name
The name may consist of 6 letters and numbers, e.g.
CAM000
»
Timer
You can set the start and end time of the camera
operation, e.g. only at night from 18:00:00 to 6:00:00.
»
Password
If this option is enabled, you can set a new password
and confirm it with the “OK” button.
If you forget your password, you can use universal
password 1314 to reset your own password.
»
Format
Delete all photos and videos. Every time you use
a new memory card or a memory card that has been
used in another device, it is recommended to format
it.
»
Default Settings
Factory settings of the device can be restored.
»
Version
Device firmware number.
Taking photos, videos, playback
Set the mode switch to „TEST“ to manually take
photos, videos and play them back.
»
To take a photo:
a)
Press the “Down” button to switch to photo mode.
b
Press the „Right“ button to take a photo.
»
Record videos
a)
Press the „Up“ button to switch to video recording
mode.
b)
Press the „Right“ button to start recording a video and
press the „Right“ button again to stop recording.
»
Playback:
a)
Press the „PLAY“ button to enter the playback mode.
b)
Press „Up“ / „Down“ button to view more photos or
videos.
c)
To play the video, press „Right“, press „Right“ again to
finish.
d)
Press the „MENU“ button to delete, protect or play the
slide show.
e)
Press the „OK“ button to exit playback mode.
File Protection: blocks the possibility of accidental deletion.
There are four options to choose from: protect the current
file, protect all files, stop protecting the current file, and stop
protecting all files.
Operating mode
Set the mode switch to the „ON“ position. The red light will
flash for 5 seconds before the device starts working. If an
object enters the motion sensor detection zone, the device
activates and starts taking photos and videos. If the object
moves within the motion sensor detection zone, the device
will automatically take photos and videos. After leaving the
detection zone of the motion sensors, the device deactivates
and goes into standby mode.
Night mode
In the night mode, photos are black and white. It is not
recommended to record videos in the evening when the
device‘s battery is low. Low voltage can have a big impact on
the camera performance.
Connecting the device to a PC via USB cable
1.
Connect the camera to the computer with the USB
cable. Turn on the camera, the screen will display
„Mass Storage“
2. Open [My Computer] or [Windows Explorer].
„Removable Disk“ will appear in the list of drives.
3.
Double-click on the „Removable Disk“ icon to view the
contents of the device memory.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
f)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
AA batteries are installed in the devices. Remove used
batteries from the device using the same procedure by which
you installed them. Recycle batteries with the appropriate
organisation or company.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to an electric and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product,
instruction manual and packaging. The plastics used to
construct the device can be recycled in accordance with their
markings. By choosing to recycle you are making a significant
contribution to the protection of our environment. Contact
local authorities for information on your local recycling
facility.
