Selection of inserts and plug-in tools
The tool must also have the correct shape and size for
the engaged object.
Installation of insert tools
Insert the tool in the front side internal square hole
of the wrench head.
By doing this the sprung locking pin of the
QuickRelease safety lock of the insert tool is pressed
down by the insert chamfer.
Push the insert tool further until it engages. The
locking pin must spring into the bore notch of the
QuickRelease safety lock.
Check that the insert tool is firmly in place.
If using an insert ratchet, switch this by turning the
dial to the desired direction of working.
Push the correct interchangeable part on to the
drive square iron of the pawl-action ratchet until it
engages with an audible click.

Measuring errors due to incorrectly set
extension and therefore danger of
severe injuries.
Set the appropriate extension length for
plug-in tools.

Use only inserts whose form and design
are suitable for the intended use.

insert or plug-in tool that is used. This

insert or plug-in tool that is used.
CAUTION
Injuries due to unsecured plug-in tools.
Make sure that plug-in tools are secured
against pulling out by engaging the
retaining pin.
