5.4.3 DMX512 timing
M c b a
This is shown at the integrated RETIMER adjusted DMX512 timing.
The example shows a byte time of 44µs. The display shows a
value in µs [u; U] or in frames/second [F] dependence of the
choice. To change DMX512 timing one can choose from different
presets. Use button [b] to step forward and button [a] to step
backward through the different timings. (see chapter 7.2, DMX
timing table)
5.4.5 Input select – switch IN A for two lines
M c b a
This option switches a second DMX512 universe from input
connector B to input connector A. Only the XLR5 and the RJ45
connector allows two universes in one connector. Since this is
possible also from the appropriate norms, the SP218UXL features
this option. (see chapter 8.6, pinning plug connectors)
Button [a] selects between “two inputs to two connectors”
or “two
inputs via one connector (IN A)”
In this mode the connector on
IN B is disabled.
5.4.6 Cue on DMX error (in preparation)
M c b a
The SP218UXL can react to faults at the DMX512 input. Depending
on the mode the outputs will have “No frame”, “all values are zero”
