INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Side and rear of unit needs to be clear of obstacles
to allow airflow through condenser. The rear of the unit
must be outdoors, not inside a building or garage.

PREPARE AIR CO NDITIONER
A: Remove the air conditioner from packaging and
place on a flat surface.

Remove top rail and R1 hardware from
packaging material as shown in Fig. A.
NOTE: Top rail hardware and installation is only
applicable to models WA-60FMS1 and WA-80FMS1.

C: Align screw openings on the top rail to those on
the top of the unit. Fig.B
D: Secure top rail to the unit with the 3/8" Screws.

For safety reasons, all four(4) screws MUST
be securely fastened.
NOTE: The top rail must be assembled before
installing the unit.

INSTALL THE ACCORDION PANELS
NOTE:
Top rail and side panels at each side are offset
to provide the proper pitch to the rear of (5/16").This is
necessary for proper condensed water utilization and
drainage. If the side panels are not used, this pitch still
needs to be maintained.
A.Place unit on floor or sturdy
table. Hold the accordion side
panel in one hand and gently
pull back the center to free the
open end. See Fig.1
