Calibration/Compensator
Functions
In this menu it is possible to check if the
ZOOM300 Laser Scanner is leveled and if the
internal compensator of the ZOOM300 is
correctly set.
It’s important to verify if the instrument is
leveled or not, because z axis of data depend
on the z axis considered by the ZOOM300
Laser Scanner.
If the bubble is out of the internal smaller
circle, the instrument is not leveled.
First of all, check that the tripod is leveled.
If not, level it and check again the
compensator bubble.
If the tripod is leveled and the bubble is still
out of the internal smaller circle, proceed with
the calibration of the ZOOM300 internal
compensator: press the Set zero button.
The instrument is now ready to work
correctly.
