Learning the
Settings
Settings
This feature contains four main settings of
the phone.
Sounds
adjust sound-related features.
The following items can be adjusted (see
section 5 for details):
Ringer/Key Vol.
adjusts the incoming
call ringer, key beep, headset key beep or
car kit ringer/key beep. You can choose
from:
High + Vibrate (Only applicable to
“Ringer Volume”.)
High
Medium High
Medium Low
Low
Vibrate (Only applicable to “Ringer
Volume”.)
Off
Ringer Type
lets you select the ringer
types for Voice Calls, Voicemail,
Messages or Web Alert. Your Sprint PCS
Phone provides you with multiple
ringer types including 4 chord
melodies, vibration and none. If you
have downloaded melody data, you can
also select it.
Alerts
give you access to the feature
listed below.
Service
sounds an audible alert
when a network service parameter
changes. For instance, if you leave
the Sprint PCS Nationwide Network
and start roaming, the phone beeps
to notify you.
