End of Treatment
6.1) MicroLead(s) Withdrawal
To withdraw the MicroLead(s):
1.
Turn stimulation OFF.
2.
Disconnect and remove all external system components.
3.
If desired, cut the MicroLead close to the MicroLead Connector between the skin and the
MicroLead Connector, ensuring that the potion of MicroLead that remains exposed may be
easily grasped.
4.
Apply pressure adjacent to the exit site and gently pull the MicroLead out of the body. The
MicroLead uncoils and the barb straightens as the lead is being pulled. Repeat steps above for
Dual-Lead systems.
5.
Clean and bandage the MicroLead exit site.
