Chapter 3: USB Sharing
To safely disconnect a USB storage device from the router, you must first eject it.
Wait at least 5 minutes after connecting a USB storage device before ejecting it
from your drive.
To safely disconnect a USB storage device from the router:
1.
Sign in to the web GUI.
2.
Under the USB icon, click on the device you want to eject.
3.
Select the Device Info tab.
4.
Click the Eject button.
5.
If the ejection was successful, you will then be taken back to the web GUI
dashboard and the device will no longer appear.
6.
If the Eject button does not work, select the Force to eject checkbox, then click
on the Eject button again.
