The
CA BAT
command is used to
reset just the Replace Battery lamp and the Minor
Alarm relay. This command should be used only to reset the alarms after replacing a
failed battery. Resetting the alarms without battery replacement will temporarily clear
the alarm. The alarm may reassert when performing the daily battery test at midnight.
When a CA BAT command is issued, the unit responds with a change in status report.
This report time stamps when the Replace Battery Alarm was reset.
To clear the Replace Battery Alarm, place the unit in Set Mode and issue the
CA
BAT
command as follows:

4.3.5 Configuration
The
Configuration
command,
CONF
, provides a listing of all user selectable
parameters and their current values. The RS-485 address and baud rate selection is
made using the rear panel set up switches. All other parameters are configured using
RS-232 or RS-485 command sets.
