Re-assembly of the impeller:
Before re-assembly of the impeller, clean the surface of the lock ring and of the
mechanical seal with alcohol or with a clean paper tissue.
Pressing on the impeller BADU 90/7-90/20:
Screw a bolt M 6 (BADU 90/7-13) or M 10 (BADU 90/15-20) approximately
10 mm into the impeller hub. While using even pressure on the bolt, slide the
impeller down on the motor shaft until the limit stop is reached. To prevent
damage to the motor bearing, support the end of the motor shaft (centre of the
fan cover). Next remove the M 6 or M 10 bolt and replace it by the impeller cap
(260) and o-ring (412.6).
Re-assembly of the impeller BADU 90/25-90/48:
First put the impeller (230) onto the motor shaft until it catches. Place the o-ring
(412.6) in the groove of the impeller nut (922). Apply 2-3 drops of Loctite 243
onto the first turns of the threads. The connection is secured mostly by the
Loctite glue. Tighten the impeller nut (922), while holding the impeller by hand
or with a special tool, tightening moment 7 Nm + 1 Nm.
Re-assembly of the motor unit into the pump casing:
First turn the tapping screws (900) to the left until reaching the cut thread by lat-
ching, tighten only afterwards. Please make sure that the screws are not tighte-
ned too strong, tightening moment 7 Nm.
Do not use force!

If there is danger of freezing, the pump must be drained ahead of time. For this
purpose open the drain plug (903) respectively (582) in order to drain off all li-
quid. Also drain all pipes subject to freezing.

In Case of Malfunction
The sealing between the motor and the pump housing is done by means of a
mechanical seal (433). It is normal that a few drops of medium seep through
once in a while, especially during the break-in period. Depending on the con-
centration of the transported medium and the duration of operation said mecha-
nical seal may become leaky after some time. If the liquid penetrates continu-
ously, replace the complete mechanical seal (433) by a new one (see par.7.5).
In case of malfunction we recommend contacting the pool builder of the
unit first.
If ball bearings must be replaced, bearings with C3 air and high-temperature
grease (approx. 180°C) are to be used!
When restarting the pump, refer to item 6.
