language for the working territory is in the machine document

Check that the serial number printed on the parts manual supplied 
with the machine matches the serial number of the machine. 

 

 

Warning decals are present, clean and in good order 

 

 

Check arms and mainframe for any structural problems 

 

 

Look for any evidence of motor oil leaks 

 

 

View the cutting unit for any damage to the cutting edges 

 

 

Review all the guards fitted to the machine and tractor, check with 
the instruction book if unsure. 

 

 

If fitted, check that the cutting head wire trap is in good order. 

 

 

Road lighting is clean and in working order 

 

 

Review the control mount in the cab for security and ease of use. 

 

 

Check hoses for damage, kinks, twists, chafing or weeping. 

 

 

Check that the prime mover is equipped to supply the correct 
hydraulic flow and pressure

and integrity.  This may require the machine being taken off the

Review the security and tightness of the main pivot pins and 
replace any missing securing pins.

Check and adjust tractor tyre pressure.  See tractor instruction 
book.

Ensure that the controls respond as intended moving the rams in a

Lifting the rotor from the ground run the rotor up to operating

Check the condition and tightness of any adjustment pads, if fitted. 

 

 

Check the function of the breakout system(s) fitted to the machine
