Options
An extra two wing wheels are available to improve contour following on
uneven ground and when cutting very low.
Where tractors do not have 1,000rpm PTO drive systems, a 540rpm drive can
be specified.
A swivel drawbar hitch is available if the machine is to be used in a very
uneven condition.
Walking centre axle c/w hydra cushion suspension, recommend for reducing
shock loading and stress both in work and transport.
Star-cut, extra blades to improve mulching. Recommend for straw.
Transportation
First disengage the PTO drive and ¾ raise the machine, fold the wings fully upright
and secure with locking pin (Fig. 7).
Never
transport along public highways with the
wings only supported by the hydraulics.
Please observe Public Highway Regulations, concerning the towing of implements,
and securely attach a registration and lighting board.
Warning
Do not run the machine with the wings raised, this is very dangerous.
The risk of debris and machine parts being ejected is greater as the
chain skirting is ineffective in this position.
Warning
Avoid transporting machine at high speed over rough ground
Maximum speed on highway
– 20mph (30kph).
