Cutting work
Adjust the handle to fits the intended cut
and start the product. Move the cutting
device lightly through the cutting surface in
a sweeping motion following the shape of
the hedge or shrub. A slight tilt downwards
of the cutting device in the direction of
motion is recommended for optimum cutting
performance.
• Stand in the operating position stand up straight.
Do not bend over.
• Keep feet apart and firmly planted.
• Hold the shaft grip with the right hand. Keep the
right arm slightly bent.
• Hold the handle with the left hand. Keep the left
arm straight.
• Hold the unit at waist level.
• Position the cutting head a few inches above the
ground.
• Do not over-reach; Keep all parts of your body
away from the rotating cutting attachment and
hot surfaces.

Stop cutting
Release the Throttle trigger and Throttle lockout.

and body protection to reduce the risk of injury
when operating this unit.
WARNING: To prevent serious personal
injury, avoid arm contact with the engine
while operating the unit. The engine may be
extremely hot.
