• Corrugated hose TUR 909 (see par. 3.3)
• EOD 55 silencer filter (see par. 3.4)
• AC 95 flow regulator (see par. 3.5)
• Flow meter (see par. 3.6)
• Compressed air feeding hose available in different length and not included in the set. (see par. 3.7)
The
ACS 952
respirator for sandblasting is the ideal device to protect respiratory tracts and the parts of the

COMPONENTS DESCRIPTION
3.1 Facepieces
3.1.1
ACS 951 Mask with hood (ACS 951 respirator)
Made of a moulded rubber mask provided with hood, it comfortably fits to any face shape (A).
Two ducts moulded into the face piece lead the air to skim the lenses thus preventing steaming up.
The facepiece is also provided with:
• two exhalation valves protected by special caps (2);
• two polycarbonate lenses approved to EN166 (par. 7.2.2) for high speed impact (120 m/sec) that protect
the wearer’s eyes from possible splinters in case the external glass would break (3);
• two external glass lenses, easily replaceable, that protect safety lenses from too quick deterioration (3);
• hood, with polyurethane fabric front and strong fabric back, sewn onto the mask, protects the wearer down
to the waist (B);
• external harness, fixed to the facepiece by means of self adjusting buckles for quick and easy donning (5).
3.1.2
Full face mask (AC 190 respirator) (F)
•
TR82
several models:
TR82 with visor made in polycarbonate or treated polycarbonate to make it scratch and solvent proof and
with silicone or rubber moulded facepiece.
•
TR2002
several models:
TR2002 CL.2, TR2002 CL.3 in rubber or silicone and TR2002 BN in rubber or silicone.
3.1.3
ACS 952 hood (ACS 952 respirator)
ABS hood (1) with adjustable head harness, from size 55 to 61. In the hood a special duct leads the air to skim
over the visor, thus avoiding steaming up.
• Chin strap, adjustable by means of a sliding buckle. It keeps the hood in position in any work situation.
• Two exhale valves with protective lid.
• Safety polycarbonate visor, a clear glass protect it from a too quick deterioration during shot blasting (3).
The glass can be easily replaced.
• A waistcoat made of strong fabric, coated with plastic and sewn onto the rubber profile, protects the wear-
er down to the waist. (4)
The waistcoat is firmly connected to the hood by means of a special groove of the rubber profile which adheres
to the hood rim and ensures tightness. The profile is fixed to the hood by pressure studs. The inside of the waist-
coat is made of a gastight fabric provided with pull strings for the best fit around the wearer’s neck.
3.2 Overflow valve (14)
(only for AC 190)
Made of moulded rubber, with positive pressure valve and standard connector
EN 148/1
for the connection
between the mask and the
TUR 60
corrugated house.
The overflow valve has the purpose of releasing excess air into the environment.
3.3 Corrugated hoses (6)
Moulded in rubber with corrugations to avoid accidental chocking, they are fitted with male swivel to connect
it to the facepiece and female threaded bush to connect to the silencer filter.
Corrugated hoses differ for their dimensions and for the pitch of the male connector thread.
