• Air line respirators shall not be used in emergencies as they do not leave freedom of movement and depend
upon feeding sources which are out of control by the operator.
• Do not wear hoods if the feeding system is not connected. Wearing the respirator when air ventilation is off
may be dangerous to health.
In case of emergency when breathable air is not available any more, rapidly leave the polluted area and
breath ambient air by loosing the collar for ACS 952 or unscrewing the corrugated hose from the connec-
tor for ACS 951/AC 190.
• Use only single-cut original medium pressure hoses with maximum length of 50 meters to feed the respirators.
• The user must check that the feeding air source supplies the correct airflow for all the connected operators.
•
ACS
and
AC
respirators can be used at Temperatures lower than 0 °C. (As low as -15°C)
• Respirators shall ONLY be fed with breathable air conforming to EN12021. Moisture in the feeding air shall
be kept under control to avoid any freezing inside the device.
WARNING
A
In case of heavy workrate, a negative peak inside the facepiece can take place during inhalation.
A
In case of use of the device in extremely high toxic environments, the protection given by the respirators
may be insufficient.
A
The respirators described in this booklet are not designed to be connected to mobile high pressure feeding
systems.
A
Take particular care to the connection of the devices to the feeding line. Never connect the respirators to
lines supplying undefined gases. Be sure not to connect the apparatus to air line supplying oxygen or
enriched air (Nitrox).

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Spasciani air line respirators are available in the following versions that only differ for the type of facepiece and
for the application they are suitable for. See following paragraph for the description of single components.
2.1 AC 190 Respirator
The respirator is made of:
• Full face mask available in different models and classes (see par. 3.1.2)
• Overflow valve (see par. 3.2)
• Corrugated hose type TUR60 (see par. 3.3)
• EOD 55 silencer filter (see par. 3.4)
• AC 95 flow regulator (see par. 3.5)
• Compressed air feeding hose available in different length and not included in the set. (see par. 3.7)
The
AC 190
respirator is suitable for use in all cases where an isolating respiratory protective device is needed.
2.2 ACS 951 Respirator
The respirator is made of:
• Mask with hood (see par. 3.1.1)
• Corrugated hose type TUR 609 (see par. 3.3)
• EOD 55 silencer filter (see par. 3.4)
• AC 95 flow regulator (see par. 3.5)
• Flow meter (see par. 3.6)
• Compressed air feeding hose available in different length and not included in the set. (see par. 3.7)
The
ACS 951
respirator for sandblasting is the ideal device to protect respiratory tracts and the parts of the
body that are more likely to be exposed to the mechanical action of the abrasive in blasting applications.
2.3 ACS 952 Respirator
The respirator is made of:
• ACS 952 hood (see par. 3.1.3)
