MOUNTING BRACKET

If for any reason it is not possible to mount the alarm on the battery, a
mounting bracket is supplied to secure the alarm to the bodywork. Select a
suitable mounting position close to the battery. Check behind the panel for any
hidden pipes or wiring and using the bracket as a template, drill two small
holes. Position the bracket in the recess in the front of the alarm, remove the
protective tape from the adhesive pad and position the alarm with the bracket
over the corresponding holes. Secure the bracket with self tapping screws.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

Dis-connect the NEGATIVE ( - ) battery lead completely from the vehicles
battery by releasing the securing nut on the clamp.

Loosen the securing nut on POSITIVE( + ) battery lead clamp. Slide the
fork/ring connector on the alarm RED wire(fitted with the fuse) behind the nut
on the POSITIVE battery lead clamp and re-tighten.

A 10amp automotive fuse is fitted to the alarm ( + ) red wire. It is there to
protect the vehicles circuitry against any short circuits. In normal use it can be
ignored. If it should blow for any reason investigate the possible cause. Spare
fuses are readily available from any automotive accessory store.

Slide the fork/ring connector on the alarm BLACK wire behind the nut on the
NEGATIVE battery lead clamp. Re-fit the NEGATIVE battery lead and tighten.

Route the RED and BLACK wires neatly to the alarm, ensuring they are
angled downwards at the entry point of the alarm case as shown in Fig 1.

The thin GREEN wire is the aerial for the radio remote control receiver. This
wire must not be cut or connected to anything metal, otherwise the operating
range will be affected. Leave the aerial hanging free to achieve optimum
performance.

The wiring is now complete.
