7) Test the remote panic feature by holding down the remote control button
for 3 secs. The alarm will trigger. Release button and press again to
disarm the alarm.
8) Finally ensure that all wiring is neatly secured. Install the window warning
labels on the drivers and passenger windows and make a note of your
remote control serial number.

TROBLESHOOTING GUIDE
RESET ALARM
This is necessary when power is lost for any reason, eg battery is
disconnected, causing the alarm to lose the transmitter code. It is also often a
simple cure to the alarm doing something unusual.
Follow the simple procedure described below to reset the alarm system.
On the red wire is a 10amp in-line false. Open the fuse cover, remove the
fuse for at least 30 seconds, then replace.
Press the arming button on the remote control once for approximately 1
second.(Note
–
if you hold the button on the remote for over 3 seconds
you will activate the built-in panic alarm feature).
Press again to de-activate the alarm.
The alarm is now reset and re-coded to the unique code in the remote
control.
