Level and secure the assembly to the above
structure by the perforated tab located on top of
the backbox.(see Fig 14)
5.
If not previously done, run speaker wires or
conduit (as per local Building Code requirements)
into the backbox. Fasten and seal as required.
6.
Proceed to the “Installing the Loudspeaker” section
on these installation instructions for the selected
loudspeaker and bezel combination.

EXISTING CONSTRUCTION
These instructions apply if you will be installing a
CT12F/FT with a FMB-FS Bezel or a CT12FH/FHT with
a FMB-F Bezel on drop tile ceilings.
IF A PBB1.2S BACKBOX IS NOT REQUIRED
(VERIFY THAT LOCAL CODES DO NOT REQUIRE A
BACKBOX):
1.
Locate a ceiling tile and place on a clean work
surface with the patterned surface facing down.
2.
Mark the diagonals on the rear surface of the tile.
(please see fig. 15)
3.
Mark an 11" x 11" area by aligning the support
bridge to the diagonals and scoring the tile with the
support bridge flanges.
4.
With a sharp utility knife, cut through the ceiling
tile removing the marked area.
5.
Position the TBS12S Support Bridge into cutout.
NOTE: Proper orientation is with the legs parallel to
the 24" dimension of the grid.
6.
Center the support bridge and slightly press
against tile. Fasten to the tile by bending the two
clips located at the flanges of the support bridge.
