Using a PHILLIPS head screwdriver, turn one
hardware screw clockwise, opening the cam.
Continue rotation of the hardware screw until the
cam tightens securely to the spline (please see fig.
28). Continue tightening the hardware screws in a
diagonal sequence.
NOTE: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL NOT TO OVER
TIGHTEN THE CAMS/SCREWS! To insure stability
and proper operation, verify that all cams are
completely engaged and that the speaker is firmly
anchored to the surface.
5.
Remove the Installation Aid.
6.
Align the Concealed Spline Bezel (Part CSB-F)
with the loudspeaker, assuring that bezel will not
become in contact with the diaphragm edge, and
snap into place. (please see fig. 30)
NOTE: Verify that all four corners of the bezel mate
securely with the loudspeaker. To insure proper
operation and avoid damage, verify that all four
corners of the bezel mate securely with the loud-
speaker.
IMPORTANT: Be sure speaker wires or other ob-
jects are not in contact with the back of the loud-
speaker surface to avoid any noise or damage to
the system when in operation.
INSTALLING THE CT12F/FT WITH THE FMB-
FS TORSION SPRING BEZEL:
1.
Place the loudspeaker on a clean table, with the
flat surface facing up
2.
Align the torsion spring bezel with the loudspeaker,
assuring that bezel opening will not become in
contact with the diaphragm edge, and snap into
place. NOTE: Verify that the four corners of the
bezel mate firmly with the loudspeaker.
3.
Connect the speaker wiring to the correct (+) and
(-) loudspeaker pigtails or desired transformer taps
using a suitable method such as wire nuts, crimps,
or solder/shrink tubing. NOTE: Wiring can also be
performed when torsion springs have been in-
serted into the support bridge receptacles, as it is
suspended.
IMPORTANT: Be sure speaker wires or other ob-
jects are not in contact with the back of the loud-
speaker surface to avoid any noise or damage to
the system when in operation.
4.
Holding the assembly by the torsion springs,
compress both springs. Align the assembly with
the opening and insert the torsion springs into the
slotted openings of the TBS12S Support Bridge.
