1-18-5. Notes on Disconnecting/Connecting
the Coaxial Cable
The coaxial cables are used in this unit.
The following notes are required for disconnecting/
connecting the coaxial cables.
Notes on Disconnecting
Do not attempt to remove by pulling the cable. Be sure to
hold the plug to remove.
Notes on Connecting

Hold the plug, and connect the coaxial cable to the
connector vertically.

Press the plug into the connector by small turning to the
left and the right.

1-18-1. Error Message
If an error is generated, the error message is displayed on
the EL display.
For details, refer to the operation manual of this unit.
1-18-2. Notes on RF OUT Connector
Be sure to connect the supplied special antenna to the RF
OUT connector of this unit, because it is reverse polarity as
compared with the usual N-type connector.
Therefore, never connect any other antenna or plug to the
RF OUT connector.
1-18-3. Note on Replacing the EL Display
When replacing the EL display, it is recommended to
replace the flexible card wire connected to the EL display
at the same time.
If using a new flexible card wire, hand form it referring to
Section 1-8-2.

1-18-4. Circuit Protection Device
The PS-678 board of this unit is equipped with circuit
protection parts such as fuse. This part melt when overcur-
rent flows or the unit overheats when problems occur.
When replacing the part, be sure to use the following
designated part.
Correct the cause resulting in the melting of the part before
replacement.

Use Designated Parts
The fuse/IC link is an important part for ensuring safety.
Replacement with parts other than those designated will
result in fire hazards and electric hazards. Therefore be
sure to use only designated parts.
