Disconnecting the USB cable

Follow the procedures below when disconnecting the USB cable to prevent damage to data.

Hint

Press the button if the screen of your

Walkman is off.

If your Walkman is connected to a computer as a media device (MTP), you do not need to follow the procedures
below. Just disconnect the USB cable.

1. Tap [Turn off USB storage] displayed on the screen of your Walkman.

If this message is not displayed on the screen, swipe the status bar, and then tap [Turn off USB storage] on the
notification panel.
