Problem
Causes/measures
You cannot fast-forward or
fast-rewind.
You cannot fast-forward or fast-rewind such content as follows by
system limitations:
Content where the time length is unknown.
Copyrighted WMA format files.
When you are playing these types of files, the progress bar does not
appear on the playback screen.
“This file is not a supported
format and cannot be played”
message appears in browse
mode.
You cannot play any files other than audio files.
“Cannot play this track”
appears in browse mode.
You cannot play the following:
A track that violates playback restrictions.
A track with irregular copyright information.
A track that you bought at an online music store that does not allow
home network streaming.
“There are no playable tracks”
appears in browse mode.
If there are no tracks or folders under the layer of the selected folder,
you cannot extend the folder to display its contents.
You cannot play tracks of
ATRAC3 or ATRAC3plus
format.
You may have connected to your computer with Windows Media
Connect or Windows Media Player 11 as a server. Use VAIO Media
Integrated Server as a server to connect to your computer (page 62).
You cannot play a copyrighted
track of WMA format.
