Chapter 3 Using the Web Administration Screen

Click [Change network settings].

Notes

• The [Local Network] fields cannot be changed.
• If you change the IP address, make sure you access the web administration

screen again using the new IP address (page 14).

• If you set an incorrect IP address, you may not be able to access it.

When changing it, be very careful.

NTP Configuration (Optional)

From the [NTP Configuration] screen, you can set whether or not the NTP
(Network Time Protocol) server performs time synchronization.

NTP Enable

• Enabled : NTP server performs time synchronization
• Disabled : NTP server does not perform time synchronization

NTP Server IP Address

Input the IP address of the NTP server.

Clicking the [Apply] button applies your settings.

[Setup] Menu

From the [Setup] menu, you can configure software settings.

Software Configuration

Maintenance and the [Software Configuration] screen

This system automatically performs the following maintenance once each day.
• Log file consolidation
• Tape volume verification
• Tape volume compaction
• File system maintenance
• System area backup to AIT cartridge (Full backup)
