Chapter 2 Preparations
Turning Off the Power
First, turn off the main server. Once you have verified that the main server is off,
turn off the other devices.
Flow of operations
Turning Off the Main Server
In addition to the following procedure, you can also turn off the main server via
a web browser. Refer to “Shutting Down and Rebooting from the Web
Administration Screen” (page 16) for instructions on how to use a web browser
to turn off the main server.
Caution
Do not perform settings operations from the controls on the front of the main
server.

Open the front panel on the main server, and press the POWER button.
After the message below appears on the LCD display, the main server will
turn off. (It will take several minutes to turn off.)
Turn off main server
↓
Verify main server is off
(POWER indicator on main server is off.)
↓
Turn off AIT library
↓
Verify AIT library is off
(Follow instructions on LCD display to turn off power)
↓
Turn off cache server
↓
Verify cache server is off
(POWER indicator on cache server is off.)
OS Booting!!
