Using a microphone and headphones

How to use a microphone

Using a micr ophone (not supplied),
you can sing along with the sound
from a video tape or a TV br oadcast,
or add narration over the normal
audio track of a r ecorded tape (see
page 77).

To use a micr ophone, connect a
microphone to the MIC jack on the
front of the VCR.  T o adjust the
microphone volume, tur n the MIC
VOLUME control.

How to use headphones

You can listen to the sound fr om a
video tape or a TV br oadcast
using headphones (not supplied).

To use headphones, connect the
headphones to the HEAD
PHONE jack on the fr ont of the
VCR.  To adjust the headphone
volume, turn the HEAD PHONE
VOLUME control.

Note

• Do not use headphones at high volume.  If you experience a ringing in your ears,

reduce volume or discontinue use.
