Searching using
the index
function

The VCR marks the tape with an index
signal at the point wher e each r ecording
begins.  Use these signals as r efer ences
to find a specific r ecor ding.  The VCR
can sear ch up to 99 index signals ahead
of or behind the cur rent position.

zero.  Playback star ts automatically fr om that
point about five seconds ahead of the
specified index mark.

• No index signal will be added when recording starts from recording pause.

However, an index signal will be marked if you change the pogramme position
during recording pause.
