Adjusting the picture

Adjusting the tracking

Although the VCR automatically adjusts the tracking when playing a tape
(the 

 indicator flashes in the display window , then goes of f), distor tion

may occur if the tape was r ecor ded in poor condition.  In this case, manually
adjust the tracking.

During playback, pr ess TR/– on the
VCR to display the tracking meter .  The distor tion
should disappear as you pr ess one of the two
buttons (the 

 indicator lights up).  T o resume

automatic tracking adjustment, eject the tape and
reinser t it.
