3-3-3. VIDEO SUB HUE COLOR Adjustment
Set COLOR to 43 beforehand and perform offset adjustment.
(Set both INPUT-A and VIDEO to COLOR 43.)
1.
Adjust RGB MTRX SUB HUE to b=c so that the level of
TP5609 Schematic Diagramssatisfies the specification.
Adjust RGB MTRX VIDEO COL or YUV COL to a=d.
Perform tracking adjustment for the two items above.
2.
Memorize the adjustment value.
3.
Adjust NTSC, PAL, and Component.
Adjust only VIDEO COL for PAL.
Adjust only YUV COL for Component.

W/B ADJUSTMENT
INPUT-A:XGA FLAT FIELD, 15k Component FLAT
FIELD, (NTSC, PAL can be used instead of 15k Component).
(Note 1) Perform pre-aging of the unit for more than 5 min-
utes in the all white state.
(Note 2) Perform the above adjustment with the lens set to
WIDE end.
(Note 3) Be sure to turn off the OSD when measuring the
chromaticity.
The W/B MEMORY consists of two modes-HIGH and LOW
for both the RGB and VIDEO inputs.

Set

MODE to Graphics to set HIGH MODE.
2.
Input XGA FLAT FIELD 100 IRE to INPUT-A.
3.
Copy the W/B LOW MODE data to W/B of HIGH
MODE and memorize the data.
4.
Set CONTRAST:MAX and BRIGHT:MAX.
Measure the chromaticity (Xw, Yw).
5.
Input the green-only XGA FLAT FIELD 100 IRE.
6.
Measure the brightness Ygmax.
7.
Set CONTRAST:80, BRIGHT:50 (initial value).
8.
Input the XGA green-only FLAT FIELD 80 IRE to IN-
PUT-A.
Adjust GAMMA/G SBRT so that the brightness 80 sat-
isfies the specification.
Brightness adjustment specification (take the average of
five measurements as the brightness)

Input the XGA green-only FLAT FIELD 40 IRE to IN-
PUT-A.
Adjust GAMMA/G GAIN so that the brightness Y40 sat-

PUT-A.
