Dialing to the remote parties selected in steps

starts, and based upon the type of line
selected, [
Dialing (BRI)], [
Dialing (PRI)], or

Dialing (LAN)] is displayed on the screen.
When the connection is established with the far
end, “MEETING STARTS!” is displayed.
Note
With a BRI or PRI connection, when you try to
connect to a remote party with a value for the
number of lines used higher than the value set for
number of lines in the Multipoint Setup menu, only
the number of lines set in the Multipoint Setup
menu will be dialed.
Calling one remote party at a time
You can dial one remote party at a time by following
the procedure outlined in “Calling a Registered
Remote Party” (page 59).
Calling unregistered remote
parties

Using the joystick on the Remote Commander,
select Manual Dial on the Launcher menu, and
press the joystick.
The Manual Dial menu appears.

BRI], [
PRI], or [
LAN] in Line I/F.

BRI] can only be selected when an optional
BRI board has been installed.

• When the number of lines entered in the
Multipoint Setup menu is 1B.
Enter the first remote party telephone number in
text box A, the telephone number of the second
remote party in text box B, the telephone number
of the third remote party in text box C, the
telephone number of the fourth remote party in
text box D, and the telephone number of the fifth
remote party in text box E.
• When the number of lines value on the Multipoint
Setup menu is 2B.
Enter the first remote party telephone number in
text boxes A1 and A2, the telephone number of
the second remote party in text boxes B1 and B2,
the telephone number of the third remote party in
text boxes C1 and C2, the telephone number of
the fourth remote party in text boxes D1 and D2,
and the telephone number of the fifth remote
party in text boxes E1 and E2.
• When the number of lines value on the Multipoint
Setup menu is 4B.
Enter the first remote party telephone number in
text boxes A1 through A4, the telephone number
of the second remote party in text boxes B1
through B4, and the telephone number of the third
remote party in text boxes C1 through C4.
• When the number of lines value on the Multipoint
Setup menu is 6B.
Enter the first remote party telephone number in
text boxes A1 through A6, the telephone number
of the second remote party in text boxes B1
through B6, and the telephone number of the third
remote party in text boxes C1 through C6.
• When the number of lines value on the Multipoint
Setup menu is 8B.
Enter the first remote party telephone number in
text box A, the telephone number of the second
remote party in text box B, and the telephone
number of the third remote party in text box C.
