Chapter 5

You need to upgrade the system using the optional
PCS-UC601 Upgrade Kit. You can connect on a LAN.
Use the UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) category 5
cable.

Follow the procedure below to upgrade the software.

1

Turn on the power.

The top menu appears on the monitor screen.

Open the CD-ROM/Hard disk drive cover.

3

Press the EJECT switch.

The CD-ROM tray slides out.

4

Place the CD-ROM for upgrade on the tray, then
press the EJECT switch.

Upgrading starts. After the upgrade is completed,
the system will restart.

Press the EJECT switch, then remove the CD-
ROM.
