5. Remove the DEC-158 board from the connector CN1
on the flexible card board.
Installation
6. Reinstall the DEC-158 board in the reverse order of
steps 2 to 5.

Make sure to connect the connector CN101 on the
DEC-158 board to the connector CN1 on the flexible
card board.

are two different
types. Be aware of the types when attaching the rear
panel.
7. Reattach the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)

The serial number of the unit is saved in the DEC-158
board.
Be sure to write the serial number after replacing the DEC-
158 board. (Refer to Section 1-12.)
Removal
1. Remove the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
2. Remove the screw and the six screws (four screws

and two screws

) for connectors, and then remove
the rear panel.
3. Remove the four screws, and remove the nylon clip.
4. Lift the DEC-158 board, and disconnect the harness
from the connectors (CN102, CN801, and CN802) on
the DEC-158 board.
