6. Remove the six screws, and remove the upper chassis
in the direction of the arrow.
Installation
7. Reattach the upper chassis in the reverse order of steps
1 to 6.

Replace the labels and rubber feet to the new ones.

2-1-2. DC Fan

The operating life of the DC fan is about 25,000 hours
depending on the environment and condition of how it is
used.
Removal
1. Remove the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
2. Lift the DEC-158 board.
(Refer to steps 2 to 4 in Section 2-2-1.)
3. Disconnect the harness from the connector CN801 on
the DEC-158 board.
4. Remove the two screws, and remove the fan bracket.
5. Remove the two screws, and remove the DC fan.
Installation
6. Reattach the DC fan in the reverse order of steps 3 to
5.

When attaching the DC fan, be sure to have the right
side and direction for the label and harness.
7. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of steps 1 and
2.
