1-10. Setting of the Unit
The current setting value is saved as setting file “nsp-1_setup.xml” in the hard disk.
Normally, the setting is changed through the network, but in service mode, various setting values of the
unit can be reset to the previous ones without going through the network.
1-10-1. Obtaining the Setting File
In this unit, the current setting file can be obtained/loaded through the network with the following
procedure.
Tools/Equipment

Personal computer (PC)

Windows 2000/XP
Web browser: Internet Explorer Ver. 5.5/6

LAN cable (cross cable)

When using a straight cable, connect the unit to the PC through a HUB that is not connected to any
other networks.
Obtaining Procedure
1. Refer to Section 1-8, and start up the Web browser on the PC.
2. Type in an address in reference to the example below, and press the Enter key.
http://192.168.0.1:4980/sys/maintain/setup/nsp-1_setup.xml
IP address of this unit
3. Save the current setting file using the Web browser toolbar “File (F)
→
Save as”.
Loading Procedure
1. Refer to Section 1-8, and display the Advanced Settings window.
2. Set the “FTP” of the Advanced Settings window to “yes”.
3. Click on the
[Reboot]
button to restart the unit.
4. Select “Start
→
Programs (P)
→
Accessories
→
Command Prompt” on the desktop to start up the
Command Prompt.
5. Input the following command, and press the Enter key to open the directory that has the obtained
setting file saved.

The following command is for when the obtained setting file is saved in the Temp folder of C drive.
cd c: Temp
Enter the name of the folder that saved the obtained setting file.
6. Input the following FTP connection command, and press the Enter key.
ftp 192.168.0.1
