Registering MAS-A100 units in MASM-1

1.

Place a check mark beside the MAS-A100 units to register in MASM-1.

2.

Press the [Flash] icon to start the LED lamp of the MAS-A100 flashing to confirm
its location, if necessary.

3.

Set optional character strings in [Path 1], [Path 2], [Path 3], [Name], and
[Description].

For example, enter a building name, a floor number, a room name, a name for
identification, and a description.
See “Setting the name” (page 67) for the valid characters and maximum
character string length.
[Path 2] must not be left blank if [Path 3] is specified.

Notes

MASM-1 groups MAS-A100 units with the same entries for [Path 1], [Path 2],
and [Path 3] on the [Group] pane, displaying a list of the MAS-A100 units in
the same group. Accordingly, MAS-A100 units in the same room should have
the same entries for [Path 1], [Path 2], and [Path 3] under normal
circumstances.

It is recommended that the number of MAS-A100 units in a group be limited
to 20 or lower to avoid slow response in MASM-1.

4.

Press the [Done] button.

MAS-A100 registration is completed.
